and a suggestion by Steve Cooley for a blockquote within a blockquote:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Quisque sed felis. Aliquam sit amet felis. Mauris semper, velit semper laoreet dictum, quam diam dictum urna, nec placerat elit nisl in quam. Etiam augue pede, molestie eget, rhoncus at, convallis ut, eros. Aliquam pharetra.

This is a blockquote within a blockquote

Nulla in tellus eget odio sagittis blandit. Maecenas at nisl. Nullam lorem mi, eleifend a, fringilla vel, semper at, ligula. Mauris eu wisi. Ut ante dui, aliquet nec, congue non, accumsan sit amet, lectus. Mauris et mauris. Duis sed massa id mauris pretium venenatis. Suspendisse cursus velit vel ligula. Mauris elit. Donec neque. Phasellus nec sapien quis pede facilisis suscipit. Aenean quis risus sit amet eros volutpat ullamcorper. Ut a mi. Etiam nulla. Mauris interdum.

Designing a Blog

This blog will be a work in progress in which I will use in order to improve my skills in creating a blog design. While I have worked on sites for a number of years, I have never worked on a blog design project. I have recently spent some time skimming through the different documentation files that are available for wordpress and it seems like an endeavoring project to start. Right now I have just finished working on the first mock up of the blog design so far. I really do enjoy the simple monochromatic color schemes in designs as it gives it a really simple but aesthetic appeal to the overall design so most of my work so far has been monochromatic in nature. This mock up is no different, though it does stray from the usual blue tones I enjoy using. I am trying to experiment in creating a simple, but very aesthetically appealing to the eyes. I can’t help it, I am a sucker for beautiful designs. Here is my first attempt at the basic layout. The next phase will be adding more color and texture. Then I will add imagery and play around with the font settings to get something nice.
